Palmetto Bloom

Palmetto Bloom is a florist in Ladson, SC, operating as a wedding and event floral design studio serving Charleston and the surrounding area. The studio specializes in weddings and other special events, offering full-service design alongside a la carte options for small, intimate weddings. Full-service work begins with a consultation, followed by mood boards, a custom proposal, floral installations and rentals such as arches and pedestals, vessel selection, and candles. A la carte offerings let couples choose from a curated list of popular wedding floral designs and color palettes, covering bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, and ceremony arrangements. The studio also designs for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, holiday parties, corporate meetings, conferences, product launches, and other occasions, with delivery, setup, and teardown included. The business holds a rating of 5.00 based on 12 reviews. Palmetto Bloom was founded in 2015 by Jonie Larosee and later purchased by Colleen, who continues its legacy while Jonie remains part of the team. The owner brings more than 20 years of experience as an English teacher and program director. The studio's approach centers on co-creative design, treating couples like family and helping them explore their own vision, whether that means starting with a simple vessel or building an over-the-top floral installation. Many clients plan weddings from out of town, and the studio coordinates with local venues and wedding planners. Dates are reserved with a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 50 percent of the proposal total, with the balance due 30 days before the wedding; changes can be made up to 30 days prior. Palmetto Bloom is known for its floral designs and personalized approach to weddings and events, reflected in a 5.00 rating from 12 reviews.
