The facility has six bays, and its diagnostic and specialized tooling is comparable to most new car dealerships. It is the only AAA-approved shop within 40 miles of Greenwood. Technicians receive ongoing training to stay ready for traditional cars and trucks as well as hybrids and electrified vehicles. The shop has invested in Hunter Engineering tire and wheel equipment, and it uses BG Products. For customers who wait, the waiting room has old farmhouse decor and a coffee house atmosphere. Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, closed Saturday and Sunday.

The shop sits on Webb Ave, about 0.2 miles from Bypass 72 Northwest and Rocky Creek, and about 0.2 miles from AFC Urgent Care. The United States Post Office and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Prayer Garden are both roughly 0.4 miles away, and Greenwood Mall is about 0.5 miles from the shop.

Lakelands Tire & Auto has served Greenwood since 1985 and holds a 4.70 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, a reflection of the honest, transparent service it has built its reputation on.
