The Hollow at Paris Mountain

The Hollow at Paris Mountain is an event venue in Greenville, SC. It hosts weddings, family reunions, anniversary parties, graduation celebrations, retirement parties and corporate events. The venue accommodates 200 guests, give or take, and rental is for the venue only, so clients may use any vendors of their choosing. The property sits on 30 acres at the foothills of Paris Mountain, about 10 minutes from downtown Greenville. The venue centers on a 35x45 covered outdoor pavilion. Tents are allowed and can be provided by local rental companies, and tables and chairs can be provided for an additional fee. An indoor area serves the wedding party, with a den and bar area, two dressing rooms and a prep area for caterers. The pavilion was built after the owners' daughter became engaged in January 2013 and asked to marry at the family home. Construction began, and she was married there on September 21, 2013. A second wedding followed one week later, booked by a friend of the daughter who stopped in during construction and said yes despite the mess from the weather. The cedar for the structure was handpicked, sanded and stained, with friends and family helping on the project. After the first two weddings, the owners decided to share the space with others. Rental rates vary by needs, guest count and dates. The venue is located on State Park Rd. Buckhorn Creek and Cardinal Lake Dam D-2871 are both about 0.3 miles away, Cardinal Lake about 0.4 miles, Mountain Creek about 0.5 miles, and Greenville Montessori Institute about 0.8 miles from the property. For couples and families in Greenville who want an outdoor setting without leaving town, The Hollow at Paris Mountain pairs a covered pavilion and 30 acres at the foot of Paris Mountain with the flexibility to bring in vendors of their own choosing.
