Pedego Electric Bikes Greenville

Pedego Electric Bikes Greenville is a bicycle shop in Greenville, SC. The locally-owned store sells electric bikes and e-bikes and offers rentals, accessories, and service. It holds a rating of 5.00 based on 325 reviews.

The shop describes itself as a region's electric bike experts, and it operates as a brick and mortar store where customers can try a Pedego for free before buying. Its service side covers tune-ups and maintenance, and it advises riders on getting the most from their bikes. That guidance includes maximizing battery range by using pedal assist and throttle judiciously on flat terrain, maintaining a steady pace and lower assist levels on inclines, pedaling harder uphill to lighten the load on the motor, planning rides around favorable weather to reduce wind resistance and temperature-related energy loss, minimizing cargo weight, accelerating and braking smoothly, and keeping tires inflated to recommended pressure. The store also explains battery care: a new bike comes with a lithium ion battery and a charger that plugs into a standard household outlet, and lithium ion batteries require specially designed chargers, since an unsuitable charger could cause overheating, fire, or explosion. Replacement parts and chargers are available through the store. It also walks owners through handlebar controls, including turning the headlight on and off, adjusting assist levels, activating USB C charging by holding the plus button, enabling walk mode by holding the minus button when assist is off, and toggling between Cruise Assist and Torque Assist through the settings menu.

Pedego Electric Bikes Greenville sits on Hampton Ave Ext in Greenville.

The shop has built a strong local reputation reflected in consistently high customer ratings, and an established track record supported by a large base of customer reviews. For Greenville riders curious about electric bikes, that combination of free test rides, rentals, and on-site service keeps the experience close to home.
