Clear Ballistics was founded out of a genuine need in the firearms and forensics industries, where high-quality, affordable, and consistent ballistic gelatin was unavailable. Operating from a garage workshop in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the company began manufacturing a new kind of synthetic ballistic gelatin that was crystal clear, reusable, and affordable. As demand grew, the headquarters relocated to Greenville, SC, to access expanded manufacturing capabilities and strategic partnerships. The company supplies professional-grade synthetic ballistic gelatin to customers worldwide.

The Clear Ballistics Gel Block is made from a 100% synthetic, clear, and reusable gelatin substitute. It is odorless, colorless, and contains no organic materials. The gel is completely transparent and shelf-stable from -10 F to 95 F. It is non-toxic and safe for indoor use during testing and demonstrations. The ballistic gel closely replicates 10% ordnance gelatin used by the FBI, providing a consistent and reliable medium for testing bullet performance and terminal ballistics. Customers can purchase blocks in any size or shape, including standard sizes like the FBI 16L6Wx6H, Air Gun 9Lx4Wx4H, Bow Block 12Lx14Wx6H, and Sniper Block. The company also offers custom projects and volume discounts for business and government purchases.

Clear Ballistics maintains a solid reputation among the customers it has served, reflected in its perfect 5.00 rating from 15 reviews. The company guarantees its pricing and offers a price-match policy. It accepts business checks, major credit cards, and wire transfers, with balances payable over 30 days for qualifying purchases.
