Body Evolution Integrative Physical Therapy

Body Evolution Integrative Physical Therapy is a physical therapy clinic in Greenville, SC, located at 528 Howell Rd Suite 14. The practice specializes in one-on-one integrative physical therapy for adults dealing with chronic pain, complex pain, nagging aches, and unresolved injuries. Dr. Ryan provides assessments, treatments, and structured plans designed to help patients return to active lives without relying on medication, injections, or unnecessary procedures.

The approach focuses on the bigger picture of chronic pain by addressing patterns, restrictions, and sensitivities such as old injuries, scar tissue, nervous system sensitivity, and compensation patterns. Dr. Ryan has spent nearly two decades refining these methods across various orthopedic and clinical settings. Instead of relying on rigid testing protocols, the practice utilizes how a patient responds to thoughtful intervention to guide treatment. Sessions consist of one-on-one work for a full hour, ensuring patients do not share their time with other individuals.

Specific treatment techniques used include Fascial Counterstrain to calm protective patterns, NeuroKinetic Therapy to identify dysfunctional movement and compensation strategies, and dry needling to address fascial restrictions and muscle tension. The practice also incorporates lymphatic-based treatment techniques to support circulation, reduce swelling, and calm irritated tissues. The goal of these interventions is to reduce irritation, inflammation, and nervous system reactivity so the body can gradually reintroduce strength, endurance, and load tolerance.

Located on Howell Road in Greenville, SC, the clinic is about a tenth of a mile from Camperdown Academy and the Palisades at Howell Road neighborhood.
