Artistry Workshops & Gallery

Artistry Workshops & Gallery is an art gallery in Greenville, SC. Housed in a refurbished factory at 12 Andrews Street, the gallery opened in 2009 and shares the building with the workshops of five artists and craftsmen. The collective works across metalwork, tie dye, ceramics, painting, jewelry-smithing, fabric arts, and installation, taking on both commissioned and individual pieces. The gallery is open by appointment and welcomes visitors on the First Friday of every month from 6 to 9 pm.

The current artists in residence are Ryan Calloway, a metal artist; Timothy Chorbadjian, also a metal artist; Karen Dillingham of Westwind Tie Dye, who works with fabric; Suzanne Vitti, a ceramic artist; and Dumah Morgan, a painter. The artists collaborate on projects and draw inspiration from one another's work, which spans forging hot-molten iron, dyeing and marbling fabric, planing wood, twisting textiles for tie dye, painting canvases, smithing jewelry, and constructing installations. The gallery also participates in community events with organizations including Tallville and the Mystical Krewe of Vulcan. The gallery sits on Andrews Street, about a tenth of a mile from Easley Bridge Road and Brushy Creek, roughly a quarter mile from the West Greenville gallery district, and about a third of a mile from St. Francis Downtown. Pendleton Street is a short distance to the south, and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office Central Annex is within walking distance to the north.

Since 2009, the gallery has brought together a rotating group of working artists under one roof, blending exhibition space with active studios and offering visitors a direct look at how the pieces are made.
