Possum's Landscape & Pest Control Supply of Charleston

Possum's Landscape & Pest Control Supply of Charleston is a landscaping supply store in Charleston, SC. The West Ashley location is one of three drive-through retail and wholesale stores serving the Lowcountry, alongside stores in Mount Pleasant and North Charleston, and supplies both lawn care and pest control professionals and homeowners who handle their own yard work. The store offers custom-blended fertilizers formulated for the Charleston area, alongside a broad line of pest management products, organics, gardening tools, and custom lawn care programs.

Founded by Bill Lamson-Scribner in 2002, Possum's started as a wholesale, retail, and resale landscape and pest control supply business and had grown to three warehouse and drive-through stores by 2008. The staff is trained to work through specific problems brought in by customers, functioning much like an old-fashioned hardware store where visitors can describe an issue ranging from ants to Zoysia grass and get a solution from an experienced team member. Possum's also runs seminars covering current industry trends and provides continuing education units for licensed professionals.

The West Ashley store sits on Dupont Road and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Customers can reach the location at 843-766-1511 or by emailing [email protected].

Beyond landscape and pest control products, the West Ashley store carries agricultural, pond management, athletic field, bird and animal, arboriculture, statue and fountain, and wildlife food plot supplies. The customer base stretches across professional landscapers, pest management professionals, farmers, sports turf managers, arborists, nurseries, garden centers, hardware stores, golf courses, and do-it-yourselfers. With more than two decades serving the Charleston area, Possum's draws on deep regional expertise to match products to the conditions of the Lowcountry.
