Rot repair addresses wood rot to restore a home's structural integrity. Driftwood Construction is a SC licensed builder and can take on a range of projects beyond its core services, from small custom renovations to unique installations. Driftwood Construction is locally owned and operated, and its owner, Andy Owen, is a SC Licensed Builder with more than 30 years of experience. His interest in the trade was sparked by his father, Jim Owen, who founded Benchmark Construction of Charleston. After Jim passed away in April 2023, Andy started his own company to carry on his father's legacy, drawing on a love of carpentry to build spaces that meet clients' needs and reflect quality. Andy was born and raised in Charleston, and when he is not working on homes he spends time with his wife and three sons.

The company's work covers window and door installations that improve energy efficiency and appearance, door upgrades for better security, and outdoor retreats designed around each homeowner's ideas. Its experience in Charleston and the barrier islands shapes how it handles installations and renovations, and it describes a process that runs from the initial consultation through the final touches. Consultations can be scheduled by phone or email.

Driftwood Construction holds a 5.00 rating from the customer who has reviewed it, and it is a licensed SC builder. For Charleston homeowners weighing new windows, upgraded doors, or a rebuilt porch or deck, that combination of a licensed local builder and a perfect rating is the company's clearest recommendation.
