The clinic focuses on empowering patients through the healing capacity of their own bodies by re-establishing harmony within. Treatments are based on Chinese medical theory, which diagnoses imbalances in the body’s Qi, a form of bioenergy that runs along meridians. Services include acupuncture, Chinese cupping, Gua sha, moxibustion, and tuina massage. Chinese cupping uses suction devices to disperse stagnation and congestion. Gua sha is a hands-on treatment that uses a smooth object to address blood congestion in surface tissue. Moxibustion involves lighting dried mugwort leaves to warm points on the body. Tuina massage uses energy meridians and acupoints to improve qi and blood flow. The clinic also offers immunity support utilizing moxibustion during colder months.

Patient care begins with a comprehensive intake and history, including assessing the tongue and pulse, to create a tailored treatment plan. Plans may involve acupuncture needles, Tui Na, cupping, Gua Sha, moxibustion, and electrical stimulation. The clinic uses clean, disposable, and unbreakable needles in a sterile environment. Patients are advised to eat a light meal before treatment, wear loose clothing, and drink water afterward.

The clinic has a solid reputation among the customers it has served. It helps Charleston residents restore balance and harmony in the body through specialized Chinese medical modalities.

The clinic sits on Coming St C, just a short distance from Cannon Street and the TiNY Tennis Museum.
