Baker Automotive Rentals of Charleston

Baker Automotive Rentals of Charleston is a car rental agency in Charleston, SC, located at Land Rover on Savannah Highway. The West Ashley location serves as a pickup and drop-off point for rental reservations in the Charleston area, with the fleet shared with the Summerville service hub to give renters access to a broad range of luxury and utility vehicles. Rentals are available to customers 25 and older who hold a personal auto insurance policy with full coverage that can be transferred to the rental vehicle.

The rental division began at the Mercedes-Benz Van Center in Summerville, SC, and has since grown to include the West Ashley service point, with additional locations planned for Mount Pleasant, SC, and Wilmington International Airport, NC. What distinguishes the agency is its carefully curated fleet, much of which comes through partnerships with luxury and specialty dealerships. The team's background in luxury vehicle sales and service shapes a rental experience aimed at clients accustomed to Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, and Cadillac vehicles. The fleet spans luxury passenger vans, cargo vans, SUVs, sedans, fully electric vehicles, low-speed electric vehicles for local trips, performance models, pickup trucks, and budget-friendly options for those needing reliable transportation at a lower price point.

The office sits on Savannah Highway, about 0.1 miles from the road itself, with Forest Park and the WL Stephens Aquatic Center roughly 0.6 miles away, and a UPS Store within 0.6 miles for nearby postal needs.

With a 5.00 rating across 8 reviews, the agency holds a solid reputation among the customers it has served in the Charleston area.
