Doko Farm

Doko Farm is a farm in Blythewood, SC, serving the SC Midlands, including Blythewood, Columbia, and surrounding Richland County communities. The farm raises pasture-raised heritage pork and eggs, keeping its own breeding flocks and heritage breed livestock so that every animal is raised on-site from day one. Animals are raised outside without antibiotics or added growth hormones. In 2025, Doko Farm added a certified plant nursery offering vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, and fruit trees started from organic seed whenever possible and grown without chemical pesticides. Customers can pick up orders at the farm by appointment or at the Blythewood Farmers Market on Wednesdays from 4 to 7 pm at 171 Langford Road, and at Owen's Field Farmers Market in Columbia on Thursdays from 4 to 6 pm twice a month. The farm currently has Guinea Hogs and St. Croix Sheep available, with turkey poults and hatching eggs expected in the spring. Doko Farm holds a rating of 4.4 from 13 reviews.

The farm is run by Amanda and Joe Jones, who moved back to revitalize Joe's family land in autumn of 2007 and welcomed their first flock of chicks the following spring. Both came to farming from careers in the sciences, including work discovering new species, exploring ocean environments, and conserving endangered species. Amanda runs the farm full time, sells at local farmers markets, and supports the Richland County Ag and Art Tour, while Joe also works at the University of SC. The couple applies their background in science and sustainability to regenerative farming and heritage breed conservation, working to increase diversity in the food system. They were nominated for Best of SC Local Farms.

Doko Farm sits on Cedar Creek Road, roughly nine-tenths of a mile from Oak Grove Community House and about two and a half miles from Linrick Golf Course and Winnsboro Road.
