OHSU Physicians Pavilion Pharmacy

OHSU Physicians Pavilion Pharmacy is a pharmacy in Portland, OR. It operates on the Marquam Hill campus, on the first floor of the Physicians Pavilion just off the main lobby. The pharmacy is part of OHSU's Department of Pharmacy Services. OHSU's pharmacy services extend beyond the retail counter. Fertility Pharmacy Services, located at the Center for Health & Healing Building 1 Pharmacy, was created to reduce the cost of fertility medications and provide a fast, easy way for patients to obtain medicines needed during fertility care, with a partial list of available medications that includes clomiphene, Ovidrel, Menopur, Follistim, Ganirelix, and progesterone. OHSU's Home Infusion Pharmacy provides infusion options for patients in Oregon and southwest Washington who need infusion therapy outside the hospital, offering pharmacy and nursing support for each patient, a range of pediatric and adult infusion therapies for chronic and short-term conditions, refill reminders, home and infusion suite visits, training in infusion and managing an infusion device, infusion suites in Portland and Beaverton, a 24-hour pharmacist and nurse help line, and help with billing and insurance. Home infusion therapies include antibiotics, hydration, iron infusion, immunotherapies, inotropes, nutrition, and specialty medications.

OHSU's Clinical Nutrition Services team supports nutrition needs related to medical conditions, caring for all ages inside and outside the hospital, and is described as Oregon's largest team of registered dietitian nutritionists. The team provides medical nutrition therapy, assessing nutrition needs, helping patients create nutrition goals, and offering personal nutrition counseling, with a custom, culturally sensitive plan for each patient. As part of OHSU's Pharmacy Services, the team works with pharmacists and other providers to make sure diet and medications support each other, and in some cases can help with prescriptions for nutrition supplements or tube feeding. Conditions the team helps with include ALS, cancer, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, food allergies and intolerances, GERD, high blood pressure, home infusion, kidney conditions, Long COVID, lung conditions, neurologic conditions, obesity and weight management, organ transplants, pediatric nutrition, sports nutrition, and surgery, chemotherapy or radiation therapy. OHSU Pharmacy Benefit Management Services works with members and their plans to provide access to medications.
