Dust protection is a central part of their process; technicians use HEPA vacuums with sanding machines and negative airflow to push fine dust out of the home. This dust collection system prevents intrusion into cabinets, while judicious use of plastic containment protects bookshelves and pantries. Upon completion, every horizontal surface in the work area is free of dust. Base molding does not need to be removed, as high-quality sanding machines allow the team to sand right next to any surface.

Most natural color refinishes take four to five working days to complete, though different finishes have varying curing times. The business recommends waiting one day to put furniture back on the floor and 72 hours before allowing large pets on the newly refinished surface. The team takes pride in treating every home with the utmost respect, ensuring that the final result is both beautiful and long-lasting. By combining technical expertise with careful site preparation, Cottonwood Finishes, LLC transforms homes into warm and inviting spaces.
