The locally owned and operated business has served Portland homeowners for over 35 years from its base in the St. John's neighborhood, with a service area centered on the surrounding Portland metro. The company was established in 1985 and has remained family owned since. Its technicians are locally certified and NATE Certified, and the company carries partnerships as an NW Natural Preferred Contractor, an Energy Trust Trade Ally, and an American Standard Customer Care Dealer, with American Standard equipment backed by a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. Furnace work covers new installation, upgrades to more efficient units, and ongoing repair and maintenance designed to extend equipment life and lower energy costs. Air conditioning services follow the same model, with the company noting that up to 80 percent of system performance depends on installation quality. Ductless systems are offered for homes without existing ductwork, additions, garages, bonus rooms, and landlords needing to condition multiple units in a single building.

The shop sits on N Fessenden Street, about two-tenths of a mile from George Middle School and George Park, with North Columbia Boulevard and North Fessenden Street itself nearby. Roughriders Stadium is roughly three-tenths of a mile away and Roosevelt High School is within half a mile.
