Ant & Garden Organic Pest Control

Ant & Garden Organic Pest Control is a Pest Control business in Portland, OR, located at 1755 NW Kearney St APT 502. The company provides organic, family-safe pest management solutions for residential clients dealing with ants, rodents, spiders, and bed bugs. Ryan Smith, the owner and primary technician, holds seven professional licenses and personally handles all service calls, ensuring customers receive direct attention without rotating crews or call centers. The business operates with no contracts and offers a guarantee that if ants return, the team returns to treat the property again. It holds a 5.00 rating based on 120 reviews, reflecting strong customer satisfaction with its service model.

The firm specializes in complete colony eradication using Azadirachtin, a botanical insect growth regulator derived from neem. Unlike traditional chemical treatments that may make ants sick and cause them to be rejected by the colony, this method allows treated ants to return to the nest undetected and carry the treatment to the source, eliminating the queen and preventing future generations. This approach targets carpenter ants, odorous house ants, and full infestations at the root rather than treating surface-level activity. The company emphasizes environmentally friendly methods that are safe for pets and children, avoiding harsh chemicals that can damage soil biology or create cycles of recurring infestations.

Clients benefit from a service model that rejects long-term contracts and cancellation fees. The business contrasts its results with industry averages, claiming that while chemical competitors may see two to three active infestations per client per year, its organic treatments result in issues occurring once every 100 years for the average client. This longevity is attributed to solving the problem completely rather than managing it. The company provides free consultations and estimates to help homeowners identify pest sources and schedule inspections without financial commitment.

The business is known for its high customer satisfaction, evidenced by its perfect 5.00 rating from 120 reviewers. Customers appreciate the personalized service provided by the owner, the safety of the organic treatments for families and pets, and the effectiveness of the colony-eradication guarantee. The absence of contracts and the promise of free return visits for recurring ants demonstrate a confidence in their methods that has earned them a strong reputation in the Portland area.
