Impact Jiu Jitsu Clackamas

Impact Jiu Jitsu Clackamas is a martial arts school in Gladstone, Oregon. It offers Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Sports Performance and Group Fitness classes to adults and children of all ages and experience levels. Impact Jiu Jitsu's founder, Michael Chapman, studied Shooto or Shoot Fighting in Japan in 1991 and returned to Oregon in 1993. He joined the Machado family in 1997 when Chris Haueter presented him a purple belt, and opened Impact Jiu Jitsu in 1998, known as Beaverton Straight Blast Gym until 2006. Haueter awarded him his black belt in 2004. The academy also hosts the annual Oregon Open Jiu Jitsu Championship, a pointed tournament with Gi and No-gi divisions for adults, masters, teens and youth, and the Ground Warrior Submission Challenge, a round-robin tournament. The academy is located on SE 82nd Drive in Clackamas.
