Noumenal, Inc.

Noumenal, Inc. is a business consultant in Forest Grove, Oregon, operating as a private international management consultancy with headquarters in the United States and the United Kingdom. The firm provides services to buyers and suppliers in the information technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and alternative energy markets. Its partners advise sell-side clients on early-stage business modeling and planning, fund-raising, intellectual capital development and analysis, organizational design and staffing, operationalization, and go-to-market planning and channel development. The firm also assists buy-side clients sourcing from these markets with intellectual capital leverage services that apply market and technology expertise to the transformation, acceleration, or streamlining of their business models and operations, and works with investors on assessment, sale, restart, and turnaround engagements involving product and service fitness, market opportunities, financial plans, and liquidation options.

The firm's stated focus is on the central problem of modern capitalism: monetizing what one knows. It treats intellectual capital, meaning the employees, partners, and customers who collectively hold the knowledge in which a company trades, as the most important asset class, and organizes its advisory work around developing, leveraging, and where necessary restructuring that capital. Noumenal is headquartered at Fountain House, Suite 100, on 17th Avenue in Forest Grove, roughly a fifth of a mile from the B Street Trail Trailhead, 19th Avenue, Forest Grove City Hall, and the Forest Grove Fire Department, with the Star Theatre and Pacific Avenue a short distance further along.

The firm's principals can be reached by e-mail, by telephone at the Forest Grove headquarters, or via Skype under the Noumenal name. Its practice spans four technology-intensive market sectors and three principal client types, with the same partners typically engaged across sell-side advisory, buy-side sourcing support, and investor-side turnaround work.
