Sea Bird Rv Park

Sea Bird RV Park is an RV park in Brookings, Oregon. It is a small, family owned business that has been in operation since 1982, owned by Don and Sheila Sparlin, who took over the park when Sheila's parents retired from it. The park sits on Highway 101 South, just south of the Chetco River Bridge, and is encircled by trees, which keeps it quiet and private. Guests are within walking distance of the Brookings harbor, beaches and shopping. The park is open year round, with business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pacific time, seven days a week. May through October is the busiest season, and calling ahead for a reservation is recommended. Staff keep the facilities maintained and are familiar with local activities and points of interest, and the park's rates are kept affordable. The surrounding area offers green forest, miles of sandy beaches and average temperatures in the 60s and 70s from April to November.

The park sits on Highway 101 South at the south end of the Chetco River bridge, on the east side of the highway. Bishop Creek is immediately adjacent, and Foster Creek is about 0.2 miles away. The Harbor Post Office is roughly 0.2 miles from the park, as are the Oregon Coast Highway, South Bank Chetco River Road and Lower Harbor Road.

Don and Sheila Sparlin have been longtime residents of the area and have owned other businesses in Brookings. They are involved in community outreach services and their church.
