The staff includes Shonda Lassiter, a pharmacist since 1999 and Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy graduate who founded the OK Wellness Center after interning with the National Community Pharmacists Association in Washington, D.C., and Debra Rushing, a Southwestern Oklahoma State University graduate from 1975 who has been with the pharmacy since June of that year and holds training in adult immunization, diabetes, osteoporosis, and asthma care. Prescriptions are typically ready within 5 minutes, with a maximum wait of 15 to 20 minutes, and the pharmacy continues to answer its telephone with real people whenever lines are available.
