Michael Kierl Orthodontics

Michael Kierl Orthodontics is an orthodontist in El Reno, Oklahoma, serving families across Oklahoma City, Bethany, Piedmont, Deer Creek, Edmond, Mustang, El Reno, and the surrounding communities. The practice treats adults, teens, and children, offering clear aligners, traditional and ceramic braces, and hybrid treatment that combines a short period of braces with clear aligners. Dr. Mike Kierl designs clear aligners himself and they are made in the office rather than by outside companies. Complimentary initial consultations cover the best timing for treatment along with the expected duration and cost, and the team handles scheduling, financing, insurance, and coordination with a patient's dentist or surgeon. Appointments for patients in braces are typically scheduled every four to 10 weeks.

Dr. Mike Kierl was born and raised in Oklahoma City and earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame. He completed his specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he also received a Master of Science in Orthodontics, and he has been in private practice since 1989. He serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the university's Department of Orthodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He belongs to the American Association of Orthodontists and the Oklahoma Orthodontic Society. The practice follows the American Association of Orthodontists recommendation that children have a first orthodontic screening by age 7, and notes that treatment is most commonly recommended between ages 11 and 15. About one in five patients is an adult. Tami has over two decades of experience in orthodontics, LaNeesha has been part of the team since 1999, and Ryen assists Dr. Kierl.
