Bella's Lawn & Landscape

Bella's Lawn & Landscape is a landscaping company in Toledo, Ohio, providing commercial landscape management, landscape enhancements, and snow and ice management. The company serves retail shopping centers, office parks, corporate campuses, homeowners and condo associations, government and municipal properties, hospitals and health care facilities, schools and universities, and industrial parks. It holds a rating of 3.20.

The company's landscape management programs cover weekly maintenance, lawn mowing, edging, fertilization, weed control, and horticultural care, with all-inclusive maintenance programs built around Northwest Ohio's seasonal challenges. Landscape enhancement work includes seasonal plantings, sustainable tree care, mulching, irrigation, landscape renovations, bed maintenance, and larger design improvements. Snow and ice management runs through the winter with crews dedicated solely to large properties, real-time storm monitoring, 24/7 response, and premium ice melters. Every client works with a personal account manager who knows their site, and the team conducts property inspections to build custom care plans.

Owner Mike Bella started the business in 2003 out of his grandmother's garage in Northwood, Ohio, after enrolling in the Landscape Management Program at Owens Community College. What began as mowing residential lawns grew into a full-service commercial landscaping company with multiple crews and more than two decades of experience. The company serves Maumee, Perrysburg, Monclova, Sylvania, Holland, Toledo, Oregon, and surrounding areas.

The business sits on Hill Avenue, about half a mile from Scott Park and roughly a mile from Zion School. Airport Highway and South Byrne Road are each under a mile away, with the Secor Gardens neighborhood nearby.

Longtime commercial clients describe crews that clear and salt lots before 5 AM, plow around busy materials yards without damaging equipment, and handle special requests for condo residents with medical concerns. Bella's works with property managers, facility managers, and condo trustees across the Toledo area on year-round grounds care.
