The shop creates unique floral arrangements with an artistic flare and hand-delivers them to customers across Central Ohio, with same-day flower delivery serving the Columbus area. Its offerings include seasonal collections such as autumn arrangements and birthday bouquets, along with designer's choice arrangements in which a floral designer builds a one-of-a-kind piece from in-season blooms at the customer's price point. Griffin's Floral Design holds a rating of 4.70 from customer reviews.

The business began in 1985 as Flowers By Rick, run by Richard and Janice Claprood, and pioneered the market flowers concept in the area, with groceries and hospital gift shops selling fresh-cut blooms. Russ and Sarah Griffin, who had worked for the Claprood family for more than ten years, became owners in 1999 and renovated the 100-year-old building on South Main Street. The shop now operates four branches across Central Ohio, and its team of designers brings 200 years of combined experience. Floral design classes paired with wine tastings are held at the Pataskala location, and the German Village location on East Livingston Avenue houses a weddings and events office open by appointment. Hours are delivery only on Monday, 9AM to 5:30PM Tuesday through Friday, and 9AM to 2PM Saturday. Griffin's Floral Design sources flowers from growers around the world, offers delivery seven days a week, and maintains practices such as buying from local growers and planning efficient delivery routes.
