Dogs boarding at the facility must meet vaccination requirements that typically include Rabies, Parvo, DHLP, Bordetella, and canine influenza, and reservations are recommended, especially around the holidays. Cat boarding guests stay in climate-controlled feline facilities cleaned and sterilized between boarders, with daily monitoring and access to on-site veterinarians if concerns arise. A doggy day care option keeps dogs supervised during the day. CareClub wellness plans and an online portal through myVCA allow clients to refill prescriptions, track vaccine status, book appointments, and access live chat. The hospital is part of VCA Animal Hospitals.

The hospital sits at 1614 W Main Cross St, near the Donnell Family Monument, the World War II Memorial, and the Andrew's Raid Memorial, all within roughly two-thirds of a mile. West Main Cross Street runs a short distance from the property.
