Locally owned and operated since 1988, Aladdin Rents began as a spin-off from Handy Rents, a Cleveland-area tool and equipment rental provider. Originally located in Mayfield Heights and sharing a facility with Handy Rents, the business relocated to Eastlake following a period of rapid growth and has continued to expand its rental inventory to include flooring and staging, convention and meeting supplies, residential equipment, costumes, stanchions, rope and carpet, and decorative concrete. Store hours run Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the store closed on Sundays. The company maintains what it describes as the deepest tent inventory in Ohio.

The store sits on Curtis Blvd, just a tenth of a mile from the Lakeland Freeway and roughly a fifth of a mile from Classic Park, with Vinerest and Captain Tony's Lighthouse both within a quarter mile. Vine Street and S.O.M. Center Road are each about a third of a mile away.

With more than three decades serving Northeast Ohio, Aladdin Rents draws on a deep rental inventory and a broad Northeast Cleveland service area to handle events from backyard parties to large festivals.
