Miss Jennifer's Dance Studio

Miss Jennifer's Dance Studio is a dance studio in Coshocton, Ohio. It offers classes for the recreational student and for dancers who want to explore the professional dance world, with instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, gymnastics, cheer and tumbling. Combination classes serve ages 2 to 4 and ages 5 to 7, and a Mommy & Me drop-in class welcomes ages 18 months and up with a parent or caregiver. A competition team, Elite Dance Force, performs and competes throughout the year. The studio holds a rating of 5.00.

The studio opened in May of 1998 under owner and artistic director Jennifer (Lowe) Nelson, who teaches most of the classes with the help of dedicated teachers and assistants. The 4,000 square foot studio sits on the ground floor and holds three large dance rooms with wood floors and mirrored walls. Parents can watch classes through viewing windows, and students have waiting areas and lounges. Ballet is taught by Miss Caroline or Miss Jennifer and is described as a foundation for all dance styles, with barre warm-ups, turns, leaps and classic combinations; students are placed at the appropriate ability level. Lyrical dancers are encouraged to enroll in ballet, and stretch and flex classes are recommended for competition dancers. Tumbling covers cartwheels, handstands, walkovers and handsprings using a trampoline and balance beam. The dance year runs September through May, registration carries an annual fee, and tuition is due by the 15th of each month, payable by cash, check or credit card through a Parent Portal.

The studio is located on South 2nd Street, about half a mile from South Lawn Elementary School and roughly three quarters of a mile from South 3rd Street, Walnut Street, the Exit 70 interchange at SR-541, Coshocton Civil Hall and the Coshocton County Courthouse.

Miss Jennifer's Dance Studio has served Coshocton since 1998, and its 5.00 rating reflects the experience of the customers who have reviewed it.
