Five Star Trucking has been built on tradition for over 40 years. It describes itself as one of Northeast Ohio's largest transportation and logistics companies. Its operations are organized around five stars of success: respect, effort, attitude, communication and teamwork. Respect means valuing the input and contributions of others, listening without interrupting and treating people as they would want to be treated. Effort means working to improve and looking for opportunities to get better. Attitude means representing the company positively and viewing difficulties as a challenge rather than a roadblock. Communication means listening first, gathering relevant information and sharing it rather than assuming others already know. Teamwork means working together to overcome challenges and celebrating accomplishments as a group.

The company states that it values long-term relationships and aims to be competitive, holding that competing strictly on price is a losing proposition for everyone; its approach is fair pricing to develop relationships over the long term. It describes anticipation as the highest form of service, working to solve or minimize potential problems before they arise and to make customers' jobs easier. Its capacity comes from a fleet of independent contractors and preferred carriers, which it says gives customers access to more equipment. Five Star Trucking is a member of industry organizations and offers quick quotes for shipments.

Five Star Trucking's established track record rests on a large base of customer reviews and a solid reputation among the customers it has served. For truckload freight moving in and out of Cleveland and across the lower 48 states, that long history and its carrier network are what the company brings to the work.
