They began in the historic Heiby Memorial Home on South Paint Street, a 19th-century residence that also served as their family home. Benney and Peg raised their four children there while serving families downstairs. The Hallers later built a new facility to meet community needs. The legacy continues today, built on the foundation of compassion, integrity, and service.

The staff is fully licensed and brings decades of combined experience. Michael Haller is a Licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer, and Certified Crematory Operator. He is a 1985 graduate of Bishop Flaget High School, a 1989 graduate of Ohio Dominican University, and a 1990 graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He serves on many boards and committees, including St. Mary Church, as Chairman of the Board of Kingston National Bank, and Past-Chairman of the Board of the Adena Health System. He is a Past Master of Scioto Lodge 6 F & AM, and Past President of the Chillicothe Noon Rotary Club, Ross Co. Shrine Club, and the Ross Co. Golf Association. He was named the Chillicothe Jaycees Chillicothe Citizen of the Year.
