The Inn at Whitewood Village is an assisted living residence in Canton, Ohio. The Inn at SharonBrooke was built in Newark, Ohio, after Jerry and Bev gathered feedback from local seniors, and it opened in November 1987 as the first freestanding senior assisted living facility in Ohio. Bev worked with the state of Ohio to develop the first regulations for assisted living, and the Inns continue to work with the Ohio Assisted Living Association. Roger McClain, with over 30 years of experience building custom residential homes, joined his sister and father in 2008 and developed a new facility design that became the signature look. Children of Bev and Roger are now part of the development team, carrying three generations of knowledge.
