The company has been in business since 1959 and handles wall-to-wall carpet cleaning and repair, area rug cleaning and repair, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, and blind cleaning. It also sells area and Oriental rugs and wall-to-wall carpet from its warehouse showroom, including Mohawk SmartStand Carpet. Customers who drop off and pick up their own rugs receive a 20 percent discount through the Lug-Your-Rug program. The business holds a rating of 4.90.

Rug repair is done by hand or machine, and the company states it represents industry standards in carpet repair and carpet stretching. Upholstery cleaning follows an 11-step process. That process begins with pre-inspection, where a technician tests the fabric content to determine which cleaning solutions and techniques to use and points out potential permanent stains. The area around the furniture is prepared to protect surrounding furnishings, and the textiles are vacuumed to remove dry soil and loose particles from cracks and crevices. A solution matched to the fabric type and soiling condition is applied, difficult spots are pre-treated, and soil is extracted with a controlled rinse. The fabric is then pH balanced, remaining spots are treated, and the upholstery is combed for drying before a final inspection with the customer. Tile and grout cleaning uses a pretreatment solution with a high-pressure, hot water rinse and water recovery system.

The business is located at 19499 Miles Rd.

Arslanian Bros. has more than a half-century of experience in upholstery cleaning and care, and its rating reflects positive feedback from the customers who have reviewed it. For Brooklyn and Cleveland-area homeowners looking to maintain carpets, rugs, and upholstery, that long local history and customer satisfaction are the draw.
