Western Window Service Inc

Western Window Service Inc is a window installer in Berea, OH, specializing in hard-to-find parts and on-location repair for metal, wood, and vinyl windows as well as sliding doors, storms, screens, and closet doors. The company serves both residential and commercial customers throughout the Cuyahoga County area, offering on-site and walk-in repair services, a staffed parts counter, custom-built storm windows and screens, and technical support by phone, online, or in person. It holds a rating of 4.20.

The business was founded by Carl Engelmann in October 1958, who started the company with a toolbox and a station wagon focused on repairing windows rather than replacing them, building a customer base through referrals and repeat work. Today the family-owned company is operated by Carl's sons, Art and Bill Engelmann, who are hands-on in the business and carry on the same focus on personal service, quality workmanship, and attention to detail. The staff includes trained technicians who handle repair problems on location, and the parts counter carries thousands of replacement parts in stock, drawing from over 150 manufacturers. An online parts catalog is available around the clock, and technicians can identify parts when customers send photographs. The office is open weekdays from 8am to 5pm, with parts counter and shop hours Monday through Friday from 1pm to 5pm.

The business sits on Depot Street, about a third of a mile from West Bagley Road and the Rocky River Reservation, with Berea Falls and the Berea Falls Scenic Overlook a short distance to the north and Berea Railfan Park roughly two-fifths of a mile away.

With more than sixty years of continuous operation under the same family, Western Window Service Inc brings a depth of experience in window and sliding door repair that few Northeast Ohio shops can match.
