Impact Garage

Impact Garage is a nonprofit auto repair shop in Beavercreek, OH, located at 4100 Industrial Lane. It holds a rating of 4.90 based on customer reviews.

Founded in late 2020 by Terri, a former social worker, the business addresses the financial struggles of families unable to afford necessary vehicle repairs. The concept emerged from Terri’s childhood experiences in her family’s garage, where she observed her father repairing cars to help those in need rather than for profit. This spirit of service inspired the creation of a nonprofit model that combines standard auto repair services with community support.

The shop employs ASE Certified Technicians who handle a wide range of automotive needs, including major and minor repairs, factory scheduled maintenance, fluid changes, tire sales, alignment, A/C diagnostics, brake services, steering and suspension work, and computerized diagnostics. The business also offers free pre-purchase inspections for customers buying used vehicles.

Impact Garage operates on a model where 100% of profits from retail customers directly support their low-cost repair program. This program is designed to relieve financial burdens for low-wage earning families in the Dayton, Ohio area. The organization also accepts vehicle donations, which are repaired and then re-homed to individuals and families in the community through referrals from partnering organizations. Donors receive the highest tax deduction allowed for their contributions.

Financial donations are also accepted to cover the costs of parts, tools, and operational expenses, ensuring the continuation of services for those who rely on them. The mission is to provide reliable transportation to working families, helping them maintain employment, care for their families, and remain independent. By preserving stability and opening doors to opportunities, Impact Garage aims to redefine what auto repair can mean for a community.
