ONE Academy Athens

ONE Academy Athens is a martial arts and fitness school in Athens, Ohio, offering instruction in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Yoga, and Muay Thai. Founded by Carlos and Rebekah Mendez in 2011, it is the first and only school for Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Yoga, and Muay Thai in Athens, serving students throughout Southeastern Ohio. The academy holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it.

Classes are built around realistic self-defense against the most common street attacks, with authentic Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai taught in a safe environment. Students work on overall health and physical fitness, and children's programs are designed to give young students skills and memories that last. The school describes itself as a place where everyone is equal, bringing together a diverse group of individuals and working to lessen separation between people across origin, race, gender, and ego.

ONE Academy Athens is located at 1002 E State Street, Suite 6, on East State Street. The Bureau of Motor Vehicles and The Market on State are both about 0.1 miles away, as are Peddler's Junction and a dialysis center, and the James A. Rhodes Appalachian Highway is roughly 0.3 miles from the school.

The academy has earned a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting the experience students have had since the school opened in 2011.

For Athens residents looking to train in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, or Yoga, ONE Academy Athens has been the area's home for all three since 2011.
