ModWash of Ashtabula

ModWash of Ashtabula is a car wash in Ashtabula, Ohio, located on N Ridge Rd E. It operates an express wash tunnel where customers stay in their vehicles throughout the wash, and it offers single washes, Unlimited ModMemberships, and ModWash Family Plans. Memberships can be used at ModWash locations, and a Family Plan adds vehicles at a discount compared with the standard membership price. Customers can cancel a membership at any time with at least five business days' notice before the next billing date. The wash uses a three-step process bath with a low-pH detergent, and a ModCeramics coating is applied in a one-step process that bonds to the vehicle's surface for paint protection and shine. Vehicles with tires over 13 1/2 inches do not fit on the conveyor. Payment is accepted by most major credit cards and cash.

After exiting the tunnel, customers have access to complimentary vacuums, microfiber towels, glass cleaner, sanitizing spray, and a carpet floor mat cleaner. The wash uses less than 30 gallons of water per vehicle, reclaims and filters roughly 20 gallons per vehicle for reuse, and uses biodegradable, pH-balanced chemicals. Water that is not reused and dirt collected during the wash go to a central collection system and then to facilities that process the non-hazardous waste into potting soil and fertilizer. ModWash describes its approach as creating a positive ripple, and it gives back to the communities it serves, inviting organizations to inquire about support.

The business sits on N Ridge Rd E, about 0.1 miles from Fields Brook and 0.2 miles from North Ridge Road East. University Hospitals is roughly 0.3 miles away, Ashtabula Towne Square and the Ashtabula County Juvenile Court are each about 0.4 miles away, and William S. Mirando Dermatology is about 0.6 miles away.
