Shea Trucking of West Babylon

Shea Trucking of West Babylon is a trucking company in West Babylon, NY, specializing in air and ocean freight, cargo delivery, and inter-island trucking throughout Long Island, Queens, and New Jersey. The company provides same-day and next-day service to over 250 points on Long Island, Queens, and New Jersey, serving four major airports: Kennedy (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA), Islip MacArthur (ISP), and Newark (EWR), along with the major ports of New Jersey. It holds a 4.10 rating based on customer reviews.

Operating for over 49 years, Shea Trucking maintains a modern fleet of 25 48-foot tractor trailers and 15 24-foot box trucks with lift-gates, many equipped for handling sensitive machinery and electronics with air-ride capability. The company operates from a large hub warehouse in West Babylon, with trucks stationed across Long Island's major industrial areas shuttling between territory points, the hub, the airports, and the piers. This setup creates ongoing coverage that allows Shea to retrieve freight promptly and meet deadlines on both scheduled and expedited bases. The company is affiliated with all the major forwarders and airlines, handling import, export, and domestic shipments. Day-to-day operations are managed by Brother Rich (President), Jim, and Chris, who remain directly reachable by phone rather than through a sales staff. The business handles ocean containers of any size and offers affordable daily service extending to Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Queens, and Long Island's Twin Forks.

The company's office and hub are located on Cabot Street, about four-tenths of a mile from Wellwood Avenue and roughly eight-tenths of a mile from Southern State Parkway. Pinelawn train station and Colonial Springs Golf Club are both within about a mile of the facility.

Shea Trucking's decades of operation and continued growth without a sales staff point to a business built on direct relationships and owner involvement. Its deep roots in the Long Island freight community make it a long-standing resource for importers, exporters, and forwarders across Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and the broader New York region.
