Homes By Mara Realty was established in 2010 by founder Mara Navaretta, who began practicing Long Island real estate in 1997 with the motto "The Power of Personal Service." The boutique agency provides buyers and sellers with an in-house attorney, mortgage services, and a concierge service. Its agents are known for creating online marketing campaigns aimed at maximum exposure, and they draw on real-time market information and a broad network to guide clients through the buying and selling process. The firm also offers homeowner resources for returning clients.

Client testimonials describe agents who communicate at every step of a transaction, prepare homes for sale with photography and staging, and negotiate on their clients' behalf. One reviewer credited Mara with securing a qualified buyer quickly and assisting with details between contract and closing. Another praised agent Catherine Dorsa for her knowledge of the Jericho market, her handling of a Melville condo sale, and her work finding appropriate buyers. Reviews also note guidance through the complexities of home buying, responsiveness, and diligence in returning calls and answering questions.

Homes By Mara holds a positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting the service its agents provide to buyers and sellers throughout Syosset and the surrounding North Shore communities.
