Qahwah House coffee - W Village is a coffee shop in New York, NY, located at 13 Carmine St. The shop holds a rating of 4.70 based on customer reviews.
Qahwah House is the United States extension of a family coffee tradition that reaches back eight generations on the highlands of Yemen, where the Al-Hasbani family has grown Arabica coffee since long before the crop became a global commodity. Every cafe in the chain serves 100% organic Arabica beans sourced directly from Al Hasbani Farms in Yemen, roasted in small batches by the company's team of artisans. The menu reflects that heritage through Yemeni-style preparations alongside familiar espresso drinks and pastries, including Sana'ani Coffee brewed with cardamom, the Jubani blend of coffee husks with cardamom, ginger and cinnamon, Mofawar with cardamom and cream, and the husk-based Qishr with ginger and cinnamon, as well as Adeni Chai made with Yemeni black tea, cardamom, nutmeg and milk. Customers can also order whole-bean coffee by the pound, loose-leaf teas and branded merchandise for delivery, or earn rewards through the company's app. Beyond the cafe experience, Qahwah House runs more than 30 locations across the country and works directly with Yemeni farming families under an ethical sourcing model.
The shop sits on Carmine Street in Greenwich Village, with Father Demo Square just across the way and Winston Churchill Square and its garden a short walk south. Minetta Lane Theatre is steps from the door, and 6th Avenue runs nearby.
