M448 University Neighborhood High School

M448 University Neighborhood High School is a high school in New York, NY. It serves students through a challenging academic curriculum and an early college program, with partnerships that include New York University College Now, Baruch College, Borough of Manhattan Community College, LaGuardia Community College, The New York Public Library, NAF, Deloitte, Grand St. Settlement, and Abrons Arts Center. The school has recorded eight years in a row with at least a 98 percent graduation rate, and 82 percent of students graduated with a full term of college completed through the early college program. It has been named to the America's Best High School List by US News & World Report for ten years in a row, and was ranked the number one high school in back-to-back years according to the School Quality Guide.

The school's mission is to prepare students to become global citizens through higher education opportunities, challenging academic curricula, and business and university partnerships. The teaching staff covers mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, earth science, history, social studies, English as a second language, Spanish, Chinese, music, and physical education, among other subjects.

The school is located at 200 Monroe St, a short distance from the Lilliann D. Wald Playground and about a tenth of a mile from Montgomery Street, South Street, Henry Street Settlement, and P.S 184M - Shuang Wen School.
