Bright Horizons at East 92nd

Bright Horizons at East 92nd is a daycare center in New York, NY. The center operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday and serves infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children, with programs that include kindergarten preparation. Its curriculum, Discovery Driven Learning, builds on children's natural curiosity by encouraging them to ask questions and investigate their environment, and it supports cognitive, linguistic, social-emotional, and physical development. The center's approach extends to Caring Matters and Toward a Better World, which help children express themselves, resolve conflict, and work cooperatively. A collaboration with the Smithsonian brings museum learning into the classroom through project challenges; one kindergarten prep class designed and built its own model of a Bright Horizons center, and another explored Louis Armstrong's trumpet through a music and sound project. The center also uses a mobile app to share photos and real-time updates on care, learning, and milestones with families. It holds a rating of 4.10 based on 16 reviews.

The center is located on E 92nd St, about a tenth of a mile from 2nd Avenue and roughly the same distance from Ruppert Park. The Yorkville Finance Station Post Office and Our Lady of Good Counsel School are both within about a tenth of a mile.

Bright Horizons at East 92nd is part of Bright Horizons, which has been providing early education and child care since 1986 and partners with employers to support working families. Its positive rating reflects the experience of the families who have reviewed it.
