Battle A Bug of Massapequa Park

Battle A Bug of Massapequa Park is a pest control company in Massapequa Park, NY, serving homes and businesses across Nassau County and Western Suffolk County on Long Island. The company, led by Victor Bonavita, has been family-owned and operated since 1996 and is New York State licensed and certified. Battle A Bug handles the most common Long Island pest problems, including mice and rats, roaches, ants (carpenter, pavement, and pharaoh), termites, crickets, and stinging insects such as yellowjackets, wasps, and hornets. The business holds a rating of 4.9 from 149 Google reviews.

Battle A Bug's approach centers on identifying how pests enter and where they nest, then applying targeted, non-repellent treatments designed to reach the colony rather than just the pests a homeowner can see. For rodent control, technicians find entry points and seal them, placing tamper-resistant bait stations and traps along active runways. Ant and cockroach treatments rely on non-repellent insecticides that foraging workers carry back to the queen and satellite nests. Termite work begins with a thorough inspection to confirm activity and species, followed by a bait system or direct wood treatment explained step by step. The company has held industry leadership roles, including Past President of the New York State Pest Management Association and Long Island Regional Director, and is family-operated rather than franchised, with calls going directly to the owners and no commissioned technicians. Battle A Bug has served some Long Island families for three generations and emphasizes methods that are safe for children and pets.

The office sits on Roosevelt Avenue, about a tenth of a mile from the Village of Massapequa Park offices and roughly a quarter mile from the Massapequa Park Village Hall, the Massapequa Park train station, and Sunrise Highway, with a local 9/11 memorial and Park Boulevard nearby.

Battle A Bug carries a 4.9 rating across 149 Google reviews, reflecting consistent feedback from Long Island customers over nearly three decades.
