K9 Obedience Academy of Irondequoit

K9 Obedience Academy of Irondequoit is a dog training business in Irondequoit, New York. Its trainer, Mo, is a USMC veteran, a former military working dog handler, and a police K9 trainer who founded the academy. He and his team have helped more than 1,000 Rochester families, and the business holds a 5.0 rating based on 20 reviews on Google. The academy's board and train programs run for set periods, including three-week and five-week stays. Clients describe dogs that arrived reactive, protective, or uncontrollable leaving calmer and responsive: one owner reported that her dog stayed calm around three other dogs on a long walk after a three-week board and train, another said her five-week board and train dog came home completely different, and one owner of a two-year-old German Shepherd that could not be taken anywhere said the academy taught the dog acceptable behavior. Other clients describe off-leash obedience after eight weeks of training, tailored private sessions built around specific goals, and a rescue dog that learned basic skills during its stay. The academy also works with owners of large, strong dogs that had been difficult to walk or control. The business is located at 40 Stace St and serves all of Greater Rochester, including Rochester, Pittsford, Victor, Brighton, Fairport, Penfield, Webster, Henrietta, Greece, Irondequoit, Gates, and Chili.
