In 1974, Andrew planted the first vines on a hill in Fairport, naming the property Casa Larga after his grandparents’ vineyards in Italy. The site grew into one of New York’s most celebrated wineries, situated on 40 acres and crafting wines using old-world methods. The property became New York State’s 21st licensed winery, marking the start of commercial production.
