Faust Design Build is owned and operated by brother and sister Michael Faust and Jacklyn Faust Maietta, who grew up in Beacon and learned the trades on job sites alongside their father, a general contractor. Their mother, who taught them how to run a company, remains part of the business. Michael took over Queen City Redevelopment Corp. from his father and has restored and renovated homes across the Hudson Valley. Jacklyn graduated from Parsons School of Design, worked for architectural firms on construction drawings, spatial layouts, and material finish selections, and founded Jacklyn Faust Interiors, which she ran for more than ten years. The pair joined forces in 2021.

The firm's team includes designers, architects, project managers, electricians, plumbers, painters, and laborers. Work ranges from building a new home from the ground up to restoring a historic Victorian in town, with the owners specializing in full-scale home renovations and new construction for more than twenty years.

The business is located on Dutchess Terrace, about a tenth of a mile from North Avenue and North Road. Southern Dutchess Country Club is roughly 0.3 miles away, Saint Johns Parochial School about 0.4 miles, Mount Culian about half a mile, and the Dutchess County Department of Motor Vehicles about 0.6 miles away.

With a 5.00 rating and more than two decades of renovation and construction experience behind its owners, Faust Design Build brings full-service design and building work to Beacon and the surrounding Hudson Valley.
