The company is licensed in both states, holding CA Lic. #305682 and NV Lic. #53722A, and its service area covers seventeen counties across the two states. Since 2009, it has been voted one of the Top 3 Fence Companies by the Nevada Appeal Best of Carson City Readers' Choice Awards every year. The company was named Foundation for Carson City Parks and Recreation Business of the Year for 2016, and for eight seasons donated temporary fencing to the Arlington Square Ice Rink in downtown Carson City, as well as to ST. Teresa's 2016 Fall Festival.

The office sits on Brown Drive, about 0.6 miles from Lincoln Highway and roughly 1.5 miles from Comstock Highway, with Grizzly Hill, the Carson River, and the Eastgate Depot train station and museum all within a short drive.

With more than five decades serving the region, a consistent place among Carson City's top fence contractors, and a service area stretching across the mountains and valleys of two states, Tahoe Fence Company brings rare depth to fencing work in Northern Nevada.
