At Aurora Music Academy, the priority is what is best for each individual student. Because no two students are alike, the academy works with students and their families to determine which path suits them, and it treats the relationship between teacher and student as central to success. Teacher assignment is based on a student's needs, goals, past experience, and availability, and new students can meet with a teacher for a 15-minute complimentary consultation to determine compatibility before registering. The faculty is made up of experienced teaching artists with formal training.

The academy's stated aim is for students to gain not only a greater understanding of music but an appreciation and love of the art form. Its rating reflects the satisfaction of the customers who have reviewed it.

For families across Teaneck and the surrounding Northern New Jersey communities, Aurora Music Academy pairs a broad instrumental curriculum with a teacher-matching process built around each student's individual goals.
