ARID Basement Waterproofing

ARID Basement Waterproofing is a foundation repair and basement waterproofing company in Ridgewood, NJ. A second generation, privately owned family business, it specializes in the installation of French drains and sump pumps, and its technicians install those systems personally rather than through subcontractors. The company also distributes dehumidifiers and battery backup pump systems. It serves New Jersey and New York, and holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it.

Arid Basement Waterproofing has been family-owned and operated since 1963, giving it 60 years of experience in the region. Over that time it has installed more than 25,000 basement waterproofing systems. The company describes an Arid-installed French drain as a permanent solution to keeping ground water out of a basement. During a free estimate, an Arid representative explains the entire procedure so customers know what to expect. Arid states that it is one of the oldest basement waterproofing companies in the New Jersey and New York area, and that it has waterproofed a house in towns throughout the region.

Customer accounts describe the work in practice. One Ridgewood customer wrote that the team was professional, the price fair and the system worked. A Bloomfield customer described the crew as polite and neat, finishing without fuss. Customers in Staten Island and Mahwah reported that their basements stayed dry through Hurricane Irene, and a North Brunswick customer reported that the system performed flawlessly through more than seven inches of rain and a power outage. The company holds licenses in New Jersey, Rockland, Westchester and New York City.

The business sits on East Franklin Turnpike, about a third of a mile from Twinney Pond Park, Twinney Pond and the School House Museum, and the same distance from Benjamin Franklin Middle School. East Saddle River Road is roughly half a mile away.

With six decades of service across New Jersey and New York and a 5.00 rating from its reviewers, ARID Basement Waterproofing brings long-standing, family-run basement waterproofing experience to Ridgewood and the surrounding area.
