The venture began in 2009 when Dustin interned with Dr. Dan Ward at the Rutgers Agricultural Research and Extension Center. He returned the following year, joined by neighbor and friend Steven, and the two began planning the winery while working in the vineyard. After graduating in 2011, Dustin completed an internship in California focused on farm management and crop production before returning to bring the vision to life.

The winery is situated in the Outer Coastal Plain AVA of Southern New Jersey, offering a getaway from major metropolitan centers. It is located 45 minutes from Philadelphia, 55 minutes from Wilmington, and 2.5 hours from New York City. The tasting room and kitchen operate on Thursdays from 3 to 8 PM, Fridays and Saturdays from 12 to 8 PM, and Sundays from 11 AM to 6 PM.
