Kingston Garage was established in 1919 by Benjamin R. Stewart. The original station sold gasoline, operated a convenience store, did auto body work, and performed all engine repair. For many years it was the first and only gas station located between New York and Pennsylvania. Stewart's son took over in 1945, eventually dropping the body shop and general store and keeping the gas station and repairs. Today the shop focuses on foreign car repair out of a six-bay facility equipped with a state-of-the-art laser Hunter Alignment machine and wheel balancer. It is a Bosch Authorized Repair Facility and a Continental Tire Dealer, with factory-trained technicians who each have over 30 years of automotive industry experience. Owner Kent Dai, who has more than three decades of automotive expertise, founded Dai Auto Repair in Burlington, NJ, in 2002 and added Kingston Garage as his second location in 2024. The staff recommends oil change intervals of 4,000 miles for semi-synthetic oil and 7,500 miles for full synthetic oil, adjusting to every 5,000 miles after 100,000 miles.

The shop sits on NJ-27 at 4458 Route 27, Kingston, NJ 08528.

After more than a hundred years at the same address, Kingston Garage remains a Bosch Authorized Repair Facility serving foreign car owners in Plainsboro and the surrounding Kingston area.
