The school was founded as a small local effort in Dumont, Bergen County, growing from a belief that learning to drive should be more than a requirement. Every student receives personalized instruction designed to match their learning style, pace, and comfort level, whether they are a teen getting their first license or an adult returning after years away. The team is made up of experienced, patient, and certified instructors who teach the Rules of the Road and prepare students for both their final exam and their driving thereafter. Each lesson uses vehicles that meet all safety regulations, including functional seatbelts and dual-controlled brakes, and the school is licensed and insured by the state of New Jersey.

The office sits on Washington Avenue near the Hackensack River and Van Buskirk Island County Park, both about a fifth of a mile away, with Saint Josephs School and the historic New Milford Plant of the Hackensack Water Company within roughly a third of a mile. Madison Avenue and New Milford Avenue are nearby roads.

The school serves a wide list of Bergen County communities including Dumont, Bergenfield, Englewood, Fair Lawn, and surrounding towns. Parents can take comfort knowing their new driver will receive the training needed to become a safe and responsible driver.
