Jason Zaplin Productions builds events around a full entertainment setup: a DJ for music and an MC to host, a professional audio setup, customized playlists drawn from a large selection of music, interactive party activities, and creative lighting. Jason recruits the DJs, MCs, and dancers himself, choosing professionals he is confident will make up the strongest DJ team North Jersey can hire. He is described as passionate and enthusiastic about the company and the joy it brings to event-holders, and he works to deliver a best-in-class event to each client.

Client feedback describes DJ Zap as energetic and dynamic, keeping kids dancing and running dance floor competitions, and reading a client's music style and the atmosphere they wanted. One parent noted that Jason visited a couple of weeks before a bar mitzvah to meet the child, develop a playlist, and discuss games, then kept the kids busy at the party with music, games, line dances, and handouts while also playing adult music that got the adults dancing. He was called a DJ, party prompter, and dancer rolled into one, and professional, courteous, and easy to work with.

Zaplin Productions is based on South Livingston Avenue in Franklin, New Jersey, and serves celebrations throughout the North Jersey and NYC metro area.
